If crowded studios just aren't your thing, consider personal yoga classes.

Each session is created and guided by me, tailored specifically to your needs and wishes,

and takes place in the comfort of your own home, my studio (South Loop, steps from the CTA), or another choice of location*. 

I provide the mat, blanket, blocks, strap and various props.

You show up. Together we take a journey towards greater strength, flexibility, range of motion, and calmness of mind.

Kitchen Overhaul | Fridge, Cabinet, Pantry Raid

  • Does this conversation sound familiar? 'Should I or shouldn't I eat this? Can I eat that, or is that food not allowed on my diet? Just one, or a small portion, can't really hurt. I want it so badly, but I know it’s not good for me. It's right there, though...' I know exactly how you feel. If this type of chat with yourself happens regularly, it might be time for a kitchen overhaul! I believe in keeping things simple. Rid your fridge, pantry, drawers & cabinets of all the items that are jeopardizing your progress towards a happier, healthier you. In doing so, we create a safe environment where it is easy for you to make smart food choices.​

Grocery Shopping 

  • Let’s go shopping at your favorite grocery store!  We will walk up and down the aisles. I will show you how to read labels and decipher health promoting vs. not-so-healthy foods, make recommendations on what to buy organic, non-GMO, and which staples to have on hand at all times. I’ll show you what to buy in bulk and how to save money. We can purchase additional kitchen appliances, if necessary.*​

Food Preparation | Cooking Meals

  • We will spend some time in your kitchen preparing delicious, easy-to-replicate plant based meals. I’ll give you tips on how to maximize your food purchases, and how to assemble items in different ways to create a brand new meal and create less food waste. By the end you’ll have: A list of staple ingredients to always have in your fridge, freezer and pantry; Methods for preparing foods in bulk; A minimum of 5-7 meals to get you started on your new journey towards cooking delicious, heart and brain healthy, plant based food.​

Cooking Demonstration | Cooking Class

  • Hire me for a personal or small group cooking demo or cooking class: In your home, business, or at my convenient South Loop location (located steps from the CTA on Roosevelt/S. Wabash Ave). Want to be more involved in your meal preparation? Or perhaps you'd just like to sample a few different healthy plant based dishes while watching me prepare them? If the fundamentals of plant based cooking are a bit unclear right now, don't worry. You're not alone!  Of course going out to eat is fun...but in order to use food as medicine, we must learn toprepare the bulk of our own food ourselves. *Demos & Classes last between 1.5-3 hrs and can be customized to fit your tastes/dietary needs (gluten free, soy free, etc.)

It was clear from an early age that yoga and I were destined for one another.

I first discovered a small yoga studio in my hometown of Hoboken NJ in 1993... 

and you could say it was love at first downward facing dog.

Over the last 25 years, I have explored various styles of yoga and practiced with teachers around the world. I believe there is a great need for more personalized, one-on-one and small group yoga sessions outside the traditional studio setting.

Health, animals, and nutrition are my greatest passions, and I love working with people to encourage positive lifestyle choices that make a meaningful difference.
